I went to Youtube to subscribe to caradvice.com.au after watching this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! posted earlier by Opponaut known as Jack Does Cars: Has a $3,500 TrailBlazer for sale. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed this awfully titled (at least to this 40 something American) video:

So I blew thru it and several other videos posted by !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , a young vlogger. Funny how different cultures are viewed by some folks online. Some YouTube commenters called them rich douches. Or worse. (He lives in Dubai, and sometimes, London. Whaddaya gonna do?)

I actually found him to be a truly nice guy and completely unpretentious, especially compared to the “rich celebrities” that we are subjected to here in the States, with their faux reality shows and their undeserved pedestals that our lowest common denominators mindlessly prop them up on because they know that it’s possible to get their own 15 minutes on The Apprentice, The Voice, or whatever the hell comes on E!, MTV, BET, etc.

Sure, I could be completely wrong about him and his family. But I gotta give him the benefit of the doubt. I guess I just hate that our younger generations would automatically attack/insult someone without giving consideration that their cultural norms are not the same as someone their own age living elsewhere in the world (connected world real world).

One last thing: “I think your sister’s pretty” IMHO would be an understatement for his sister, Lana (with bonus kitty kat, Bubbles)

Mo Vlogs covers the most pretentious aspects of car culture—the most ridiculously expensive cars money can buy. But all things considered, he is a surprisingly chill guy and spends lots of time admiring other people’s cars, displaying a good amount of humility.

He is a lot easier to watch than some other YouTube “reality” car channels that regurgitate played-out topics such as “What It’s Like to Drive My Lambo,” “My Lambo Broke,” “Reactions to my Lambo,” “10 Things I LOVE About My Lambo” and my favourite one, “10 Things I Absolutely HATE About My Lambo”.

The last few topics you mention sound like something Doug DeMuro could have done. So I guess the next #DougCar needs to be a Lambo.

Just knowing what goes on in comment sections everywhere, I would never put my sister in the video. He may be a little too trusting. Also, an interesting accent. I guess it’s a combination accent, especially when he says “wat er”.

Don’t forget the recent one “I Lost My Job; Can I Keep My Lambo?”

+10 internet points for realizing that other cultures have different standards and ideas. Too often people attack because something or someone is different. For even considering this possibility, you are awesome in my book.

Actually his sister has her own vlog and is a make-up artist (google Lana Rose) so she’s everywhere. TBH, I was thinking the same thing until I read that she has her own thing going on.

Also the accent is quite natural, seeing that the UAE is formerly of the British Empire.

*seriously, how is she not an international supermodel and/or married!?

thank you.

sucks that it’s so hard to get some people to understand the just the kindergarten-level basics of sociology.

There’s a girl in my office, who’s quite the looker. We’re watching tv during lunch and we saw a commercial with skinny girls, and she says “I could never be a model”.

Me being married, I had to choose my words carefully. I’m thinking ‘She obviously could be a model, she’s so skinny she would fit in naturally with other models.’ I think girls aren’t confident because they can’t be “like the girls on tv”, which is stupid; girls are beautiful as is.

I ended up saying “this is a trick question, right? I mean, you obviously could be a model, you have what it takes.”

I find culture fascinating. I feel American culture is mainly composed of diluted other cultures. Heck, I think its a bummer that I’m a plain white male because i have no cultural heritage other than “ white guy”.

Bravo, sir, bravo! for the way you handled it. I don’t mean to offend anyone for using a weapon of war as an analogy, but it so sucks that any potential type of relationship that you could possibly have with a co-worker inside or outside the workplace is always an IED waiting to blow up in the face of an individual not expecting it.

Having said that, is she single, at least 30 y.o., and working in the Indianapolis area?

I’m a friend with a few girls a work, usually the ones the sit by me or ones I see usually at lunch. It gets boring staring at a computer all day so I strike up random conversations with coworkers. It’s just a major pet peeve of mine when a girl thinks they aren’t good looking.

She is...engaged I believe. Going to be married sometime later this year. I overheard her talking to someone else about it. The upstairs break room is small, lol.

Haha, nice! It got me thinking what music genre is wholly American, and I came up with one answer, bluegrass. So here’s a song about a man going around shooting people, in the genre of bluegrass.

I can’t explain why I like this song, I just do.

everybody has a deep history, your ancestors could have been from Germany or Ireland or Sweden or wherever. I’m a white British Guy but I’m likely decended from Anglo-Saxons or Normans somewhere down the line.

My dad traced my mom’s side to one if the immigrants in the mayflower (or one if the sister ships) , then to some kings in either Ireland or Scotland ( I forget which); and my dad is adopted so who knows. My mom says we’re Heinz 57, a little bit of everything. But I don’t really associate with anything in particular, neither my parents nor their parents did. Heck, I'm a Protestant white guy, that's a cliche if ever I heard one, lol,
